SUDBURY, Ont. – The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League (NOJHL) announced Monday that the forward trio of Lucas Signoretti (Greater Sudbury Cubs); Jack Kelly (Timmins Rock) and Tyler Patterson (Hearst Lumberjacks) have been named its BrokerLink Insurance 3 Stars of the Week, for the period ending Nov. 24.
Lucas Signoretti, (F) Greater Sudbury Cubs: Registering a league-best nine points, in just two games played, Signoretti kept the Cubs firing on all cylinders.
Last week, the 20-year-old from Kanata, Ont., tallied four times, including notching his NOJHL-leading seventh game-winner, and dished out five assists.
Signoretti is currently tops in overall goals and points registered with 22 and 42 respectively.
Jack Kelly, (F) Timmins Rock: Helping surging Timmins run a winning streak to seven in succession, Kelly did his part in a pair of home ice victories over the time frame.
Hailing from Madoc, Ont., the third-year forward picked up three markers and contributed on two others in triumphs over Hearst and Blind River.
With goals in four straight and points in six straight, Kelly is well on pace to establish career single-season highs in most offensive categories.
Tyler Patterson, (F) Hearst Lumberjacks: Becoming the third player in the league to record four goals in a game on the campaign, Patterson did just that in a win over Blind River Saturday.
He also had an assist in that match-up, to go with two other helpers in a narrow road setback versus the Rock Friday to pick-up seven points in total aiding Hearst in maintaining their hold on second spot in the overall standings.
In his final season of Jr. A hockey, the Newcastle, Ont., product is just six games away, as well as only 11 points shy, from reaching the 200-plateau for both, during his time in the NOJHL.
