HEARST, Ont. – The Hearst Lumberjacks are proud to name Marc-Alain Bégin as the second Head Coach in the team history. Marc-Alain was an assistant coach for the Jacks the past three seasons, and we believe he is ready for the challenge ahead of him.
Marc-Alain played two years in the Quebec Junior Hockey League where he collected 56 points in 90 games. Marc-Alain was also a star in the NOJHL where he ranks 10th in all-time scoring with 283 points in 128 games. Marc-Alain also played USports for Laurentian University. The experience he gained beside Coach Lafleur, his hockey pedigree and his passion towards the game gives him all the credentials to be the next great coach for the Lumberjacks.
We are very happy to have Marc-Alain on board to keep building the great success the Hearst Lumberjacks established in their first three years.
