The 1999 born who stands at 6’03’’ and weighs at 190lbs was the NOJHL 3rd best scorer last season with 30 goals and 45 assists for 75 points in 55 games. Jake will be counted on as a dangerous offensive player again this year. Jake also brings a lot of leadership towards the quest for another Championship season. Hearst fans, Jake Desando is coming back and will be a force to be reckoned with in 2019-20.
The Hearst Lumberjacks are proud to announce the return of Justin Miron from Mirabel, Quebec. The 6’02’’, 205lbs defenceman brings a solid two-way game with a great work ethic. The Rouyn Noranda Huskies draft pick will be counted on as an important piece for the Lumberjacks defensive squad. He had 4 goals and 7 assists for 11 points in 51 games last year. Justin will add experience to the Jacks lineup and will counted on to provide strong leadership as another important piece towards another Championship season for the Lumberjacks. The 1999 Stephenville Crossing, Newfoundland native who stands at 6’0’’ and weighs at 175lbs registered 17 points in 52 regular season games while adding 6 points in 17 playoff games. George brings a lot of determination to the game. His high level of energy makes him a fun player to watch. He played an instrumental part on the Lumberjacks Penalty Kill Unit last year. George plays a very well 200 feet game. Welcome back George!
