Collège Français de Longueuil (LHJAAAQ) enters December still No. 1 in CJHL Top 20 Rankings – Fuelled by Gatorade
TORONTO – While it’s a start of a new month, Collège Français de Longueuil (LHJAAAQ) holds down a familiar place at No. 1 in the latest Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) Top 20 Rankings – Fuelled by Gatorade, announced Monday.
Collège Français maintains top spot for an eighth consecutive week as they continue to roll along in the Quebec AAA Junior Hockey League with an impressive overall record of 24-1-0-0.
Another surging side, the Niverville Nighthawks (MJHL), are also holding firm as the No. 2 rated side in the 116-team CJHL.
Niverville went a perfect 9-0 in November while having won 15 in a row in total. They presently top the Manitoba Junior Hockey League table with a 21-1-0-0 mark.
Tabbed No. 3 in the national listings, which are compiled by an independent scouting service, are the Rockland Nationals (CCHL).
Currently on an eight-game heater, Rockland still leads the way in the Central Canada Hockey League as they enter December having gone 23-2-0-0.
Slotted in at No. 4 are the Toronto Patriots (OJHL).
Among the 24 clubs in the Ontario Junior Hockey League, the Patriots lead the way there. They presently pace the entire CJHL in victories, in sporting a 26-6-0-0 run so far on their campaign.
Capping off the Top 5 this week is another LHJAAAQ squad, the Panthères de St-Jérôme.
They have won seven straight contests while sitting 21-4-0-0 to date.
