NOJHL names its Rogers 3 Stars of the Week

SUDBURY, Ont. – The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League (NOJHL) announced Monday that forward Mason Walker (Greater Sudbury Cubs); goaltender Logan Vale (Espanola Paper Kings) and forward Henry Ouellet (Hearst Lumberjacks) have been named its Rogers 3 Stars of the Week for the period ending October 19.

Mason Walker, (F) Greater Sudbury Cubs – Making his return to the Cubs lineup last week, Walker made an immediate impact helping his side go 2-0-1-0 with four goals and a pair of assists.

The 16-year-old Sudbury product notched a hat trick in his 2025-26 debut Thursday in a victory versus French River, scored once and helped set-up another in a road triumph at the Soo Eagles Friday, then picked up a helper in an overtime draw at the Soo Thunderbirds.

Coming out of the Sudbury Wolves U16 AAA program, Walker has points in six straight outings dating back to last season.

Logan Vale, (G) Espanola Paper Kings – Backstopping Espanola to a weekend home-and-home sweep of Timmins, Vale did not allow an even strength goal-against in picking up a pair of victories against the Rock.

In all, the 20-year-old Belleville, Ont., product had a 1.97 GAA and a .951 save percentage in the time frame while seeing 122 minutes of game action.

Playing his minor hockey previously with the Greater Kingston Gaels U18s (ETAHL), Vale has won each of his past five starts and has moved into fifth spot among NOJHL netminders in average (2.69) and third in SV% (.934).

Henry Ouellet, (F) Hearst Lumberjacks – Amassing 10 points in a trio of road contests over the weekend saw Ouellet score six times and dole out four assists on a trek that saw Hearst go 2-0-0-1. One of his tallies was a game-winner.

Ouellet, a 19-year-old who hails from St-Alexandre, Que., has run a goal streak to five straight outings, in which he has found the back of the net a total of nine times.

The second-year Lumberjacks’ forward currently leads the NOJHL in point-per-game average at 2.27 and has jumped to fourth in overall offensive production on 25 points, in 11 match-ups, with 13 markers and a dozen helpers.
